Heading into this year's Munster SHC there were question marks over Tipperary and their manager.
After taking over in 2022 on three-year term, Liam Cahill oversaw a relatively promising first season, qualifying out of Munster, which included a win over Clare, before getting knocked out of the All-Ireland by Galway in the quarter-finals.
However, 2024 seemed like a regression, as they finished bottom of Munster, with just a draw and three losses to show for their efforts.
Nonetheless, Cahill remained steadfast, and in a resurfaced interview from last year, he took "umbrage" to a question, which was fair at the time, asking whether he was the right man to take the Premier forward.
He answered: "I don't know what do you think, Shane?
"I'm appointed for a three-year term. I have no doubt about that.
"I take umbrage to that question actually.
"I have a three-year term, possibly with a one-year extension.
"I have full support of the county board, 100 percent behind me.
"And what's paramount to me and my management team is I have 100 percent of the support of them players next door.
"So that's not even, that's not even a question."
