Galway defeated Mayo on a scoreline of 15 points to 1-11 on Sunday to repeat last year's upset and book their spot in the Connacht Final. The hosts got there in the end, but had to survive some late pressure from 14-man Mayo, who had Keith Higgins red-carded in the first half following an exchange with Damien Comer which left the Galway forward writhing on the turf. It was a tough contest on both sides and while Galway only scored two points in the last half hour of the game, it was enough for the win. The game had its moments and Damien Comer's thumping shoulder on Diarmuid O'Connor will probably be on every highlight reel of the summer when the montages start rolling in. Just look at that reaction... While it had absolutely zero impact on the result of the game, or really any impact at all, there was one moment from Cillian O'Connor that caught our eye during the game. O'Connor finished with a tally six points for his shift, but he also provided this little nugget of skill which probably went unnoticed for a lot of people.
