Sky Sports will broadcast the knockout qualifier between the Cats and the Deise in Semple Stadium in Thurles. It is the only television channel the game will be available on and it's do or die for both counties who met in two epic semi-final battles last year.
RTÉ Sport will showcase another Mayo game, this time away in Ennis against Clare but it means there are four fairly standout fixtures in Westmeath-Armagh, Cavan-Tipperary, Meath-Donegal and Tipp-Dublin that will not be broadcast live at all.
Sky Sports will win the day on Saturday with their coverage of the all-or-nothing hurling clash at 7pm.
The Sunday Game will dominate the Sabbath, however.
Only two games are on show at the end of the weekend and both will be broadcast on RTÉ. Both also happened to be two pretty big games as Munster and Connacht await to crown new champions.
Connacht football final: Galway v Roscommon (2pm) Munster hurling final: Clare v Cork (4pm)It means there will be 10 senior football and hurling games for The Sunday Game to get through on Sunday evening which, of course, means that a lot of the biggest clashes in the country will be reduced to two-minute packages. If ever you should pick a weekend to get to a game, make it this one.
