In contrast to yesterday's walk-over between Cork and Dublin, today's semi-final between Tipperary and Kilkenny went down to the wire.
The Premier came out on top, winning 4-21 to 0-30, but the Cats were oh so close to levelling the game at the death.
After four minutes of stoppage times was added, Kilkenny found themselves three behind with just 30 seconds to go, and John Donnelly must have thought he had done the impossible when he fired a shot towards goal and past Tipp keeper Rhys Shelly.
However, Robert Doyle was on the line to make a game-winning block for his side.
