TWEETS: GAA family comes together to support Waterford’s Pauric Mahony after suspected leg break

The championship has been robbed of one of its brightest talents

Whatever happens in 2015 Waterford are pretty much guaranteed their place as the story of the GAA season. Hardly tipped to emerge from Division 1B, they swept all before them to secure the overall Allianz League title with a very impressive win over Cork in Thurles just last Sunday Derek McGrath's side are playing a unique brand of hurling, and one man who has been key to their form this season is Pauric Mahony. The forward scored 0-11 in last week's win over Cork, but may now miss the entire season as it's believed that he may have suffered a broken leg tonight while on club duty. The forward suffered the injury midway through the clash of Ballygunner and Ballyduff Upper in Fraher Field.
