Higgins did nothing wrong. She got it down, she got it accurate but Kim Connors came charging across her line, reaching back with an outstretched hand and somehow managed to turn the ball away when everything we know about physics would've suggested that she couldn't.
Wicklow go on to play Down with a place in the quarter-final at stake but, whatever happens for the rest of the season, no-one will forget Kim Connors' save for a long, long time.
