Westmeath are facing Wexford today in Cusack Park in Mullingar, but already the home side have had to make a change to their starting 15. Corner back Shane Power suffered what sounds like a bizarre injury in the pre-match puck around.

UPDATE: Westmeath were then rocked by another serious injury when Derek McNicholas, who shipped a heavy knock and was stretchered off.
