Wexford Camogie team seeking new manager after failing to field team against Cork

The Wexford Camogie team is on the look-out for a new manager after Martin Carey stepped down from his position following this weekend's controversy. Wexford were unable to field a team for Saturday's Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League Division 1 clash with Cork due to several inter-county players' club commitments. With St. Martins due to meet Inniscarra in the All Ireland semi-final on Sunday, several players declared themselves unavailable for Wexford. While Wexford were unable to make it to the field, elsewhere in Division 1 saw a victory for Galway over Tipperary in Group 2 while Kilkenny and Clare came out on top in their respective Group 1 clashes with Dublin and Offaly.
