Manuel Neuer has revealed he has had skin cancer and has undergone surgery three times. The Bayern Munich goalkeeper revealed the news on Wednesday and is working alongside German tennis star Angelique Kerber to promote sun cream. Neuer is expected to make Germany's World Cup squad as a result of it and in the video posted to his Instagram, explained the importance of using sun cream. "I had to have three operations and have had skin cancer," he said. The 36-year-old has since undergone the surgery three times and now has a facial scar as a result of the operation. With 113 international appearances to his name, Neuer is still regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world however given his age and experience, Qatar could well be his last World Cup. He is also one of the most successful goalkeepers in history having won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, the Bundesliga for the past 10 years in a row and two Champions League titles.
