Top tips for day two at Wimbledon thanks to Hayley O’Connor of Ladbrokes

Women's singles 6/4 favourite Serena Williams will take to centre court today on her quest to win a 22nd Grand Slam title, equalling Steffi Graph, and a seventh at SW19.

She reportedly feels better than when losing the French Open to Muguruza but faces a slippery opponent in Amra Sadikovic, who threw in the towel on tennis back in May 2014, only to return last year. 

Since then has clamoured her way back to a world ranking of 148 and a centre court clash with the world number one.

Serena is 1/66 to win this, but this gritty player could make her work for it. Although reaching four finals this year, Williams has won just one, but should sail through this early match today. Sit back and watch.

Andy Murray, 11/4 second favourite for the title, faces another Brit for a change, in Liam Broady.

A determined youngster from Stockport, he might just frustrate the Scotsman, who will be eager to box this off quickly. However, Broady proved on the opening day last year, he's not easy to get rid of.

The world ranked number 235 player was two sets down only to tough out a five set victory against Australia's Marinko Matosevic. A 33/1 shot to beat the number 2 seed today, the even money available for there to be over 26 games  could be worth taking.

While there's plenty of proven talent on show, later on today, it might be worth having a peek at court number 3, where up and coming Austrian Dominic Thiem will likely justify 2/5 favouritism against German Florian Mayer.

The 22-year-old is making a big name for himself, beating the King Of Clay Nadal in Buenos Aires, and Roger Federer on grass in Stuttgart. Certainly one to watch!
