Anthony Joshua wants to be more like Katie Taylor

Anthony Joshua has sung Katie Taylor's praises ahead of the Irishwoman's next step on her unification journey.

Taylor is in Philadelphia, preparing for her clash with WBO lightweight champion Rose Volante on Friday night, and the Bray boxer is heavily favoured to extend her unbeaten record. On multiple occasions, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn has named Taylor as his favourite fighter and now she has received a huge compliment from one of the greatest fighters on the planet. Taylor's Matchroom stablemate Anthony Joshua, who holds the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles at heavyweight, has admitted that he continues to learn from the Irish Olympic legend. "She's very calming, which is working for her, she's a beast in the ring, and just keep on doing what you're doing. "Some people talk a good game on the outside, but they don't fight like it on the inside." Should Taylor come through the Volante test unscathed, she will receive an undisputed title fight with WBC champion Delfine Persoon on the undercard of Joshua's upcoming bout with Jarrell Miller on June 1.
