Christine Frampton pays tribute to hero Carl after brutal fight in Manchester

Carl Frampton's fighting days may be over.

Frampton insisted that he was in the best shape of his life and offered no excuses for his defeat to Josh Warrington on Saturday night, insisting that the better man won on the night. 'The Jackal' came up short in the IBF featherweight title fight in Manchester and while he refused to make a rash decision on his fighting future in the ring after the final bell, it sounded like he was entertaining the idea of hanging up his gloves. "I'll have to sit down with my team," Frampton said. "I have a young family at home and I've been in this game a long time. I'll have to sit down with my team, I'll not make any decisions right now." Frampton cut a dejected figure when he visited Warrington's dressing room to congratulate 'The Leeds Warrior', who was a betting underdog going into the fight. But Warrington remains undefeated after handing Frampton the second loss of his career and it could well be the final trip through the ropes for the Belfast legend.
