The format clearly favoured Mayweather with McGregor evidently unprepared and not fully aware of what was expected of him.
The common consensus is that Mayweather came out as the victor in the verbal spar.
In the build-up to the fight, it is no surprise that professional boxers have backed Mayweather for the sake of their sport and a lot of UFC fighters are backing McGregor, a win for the Dubliner would be massive for mixed martial arts.
UFC Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier called it how it is though suggesting that Mayweather came out on top but solely because McGregor wasn't adequately prepared.
