Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn could deliver a monster fight for Katie Taylor in 2022.

The biggest fight in women's boxing history could happen next year. Katie Taylor is undoubtedly the biggest star in the female fight game at the moment, but every pugilist needs a rival, and Amanda Serrano is the biggest threat to the Bray boxer's crown. The two warriors have been touted for a showdown since Taylor beat Serrano's sister in 2018, but no one expected that YouTuber Jake Paul would have an important role in getting this over the line.

Serrano signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions earlier this year, which means that Taylor's promoter, Eddie Hearn, needs to broker a deal with the online sensation.

Eddie Hearn admits that fighting Amanda Serrano next has always been the plan for Katie Taylor.

"She always wants to fight," said Hearn "The plan, 100%, is Amanda Serrano at Madison Square Garden. "That is the biggest fight in women's boxing. Katie has been wanting that fight for a long time. You know how difficult it is with these mega-fights, but Katie has fought two mandatory challengers in the past 13 weeks, they're out of the way.
