Eddie Hearn tweets X-ray confirming Kell Brook’s broken eye socket

In the end, Kell Brook's ambitious attempt to take Gennady Golovkin's middleweight crown came to nothing.

Having stepped up two divisions to take on GGG, 30-year-old Brook's night was ended in the fifth round when his corner decided that the time was right to throw in the towel. Before that, the fight was far more evenly contested than many had predicted.
