In one of the off-season's biggest moves, Wexford footballers have made a move for a basketball legend.

It has been reported that David Power has added Tim "Downtown" McCarthy to his backroom team, with the excitable commentator coming on board as a man-to-man marking and shadowing expert. King Nidge needs a kingdom, and the Kingdom need to overcome their Dublin hoodoo. Who better to scare the shite out of some Dubs other than the criminal overlord of 'Love/Hate'? His tactics may cause the Sunday Game studio to burn with Joe Brolly's indignation as petrol bombs are lobbed into a full-back line, but who wouldn't tune in for that?
