Kieran Donaghy and Tomas O Sé lead heartfelt tributes to former Kerry teammate Paddy Curtin

To wear the Kerry jersey at any age, at any level and in any competition is a huge honour.

So it is no surprise that there has been a huge outpouring of grief and sympathy to the family of the late Paddy Curtin, who passed away overnight in a Miami hospital. The 26-year-old, who featured for the Kerry minor, U21 and senior sides in his career, took ill after suffering head injuries in a road accident in Guatemala last week. Sadly he failed to recover and his death was confirmed earlier today with his family by his side.
