On Sunday, Sutcliffe will have the opportunity to showcase his talent with a size five at senior county level when New York welcome Sligo to Gaelic Park for the first game of the 2017 championship (throw-in: 8.15pm Irish time).
On the latest GAA Hour, both county managers spoke about preparations ahead of the Connacht preliminary clash and Justin O'Halloran, in his second season in charge in America, admitted that they are confident.

"He's quite good now," O'Halloran said. "He has both feet. He'll kick with both feet and he's a very intelligent player. He'll run all day for you too. "I certainly have no complaints about Danny. He'll try his best and he'll always give a full effort."It's not just Sutcliffe. O'Halloran is also working with three Sligo players who are about to face their native county and there's a feeling that New York could just complete the team's first ever championship win on Sunday. Listen to the full interview below from 42:45 for insight into what's happening over there.
