The trio have hooked up to design a new composite hurl in response to the ever growing issue of ash dieback in the country. It doesn't grow on trees you know.
Together, they've come up with a model that's as functional as the classic - and, in their minds, better.
"The touch is the same, the strike is the same, the shape is the same," Neil McManus says of the Reynolds product whilst Seamus Callanan calls it the future.
"Whenever I'm playing with it, I just feel like I'm playing with an ash hurl," Richie Hogan confirms.
The idea is to continue to give hurlers that same feel. This model, ash or not, can still be sanded. It can be bent and it can be individualised but it's also more durable so you won't have to run out and get a new one every other game.
The new hurl will be officially launched by Reynolds Sports on Wednesday 29 March at CLG Na Fianna in Dublin.
But don't let us tell you about it, listen to Seamus Callanan instead.
