But that wasn't the story this weekend. That wasn't the story at all.
The story was of young Colm McGurk of Carrickmore picking up a serious injury and the story was how the opposition came to his aid.
During the game, Colmcille's player McGurk went down but two rivals playing for Omagh, Hugh and Micheal Gallagher, attended him.
The pair are brothers and the pair are doctors and they were quickly joined by another sibling and another doctor Turlough Gallagher who was watching the game.
Hugh was also the captain of the St. Enda's team who won the championship back in 2014.
On Saturday night though, for however long was needed at least, the Gallagher brothers weren't Omagh men. They were just GAA men. They were just men who saw another man in need and they stepped up to the plate wonderfully.
We battle like warriors when the crest is being worn and the game is on but, at the end of the day, we're all united as Gaels.
