Halle-flippin-lujah. After a winter that seemed like it would never end, locked down and without a game to go to or a round of golf to play, it really was twiddle the thumbs time. Thankfully, the storm has passed and the good things are coming back into our lives. Golf, tennis and underage sports returned on Monday and it's only a week and a half now, before inter-county GAA restarts with the National Hurling League. Listen, without crowds and without even a final, it's not going to be the same and you could easily argue that the National Leagues won't be taken seriously this time around. But beggars can't be choosers, they're games, games that will be shown on television and we won't be missing them. D-day, as they say, is the second weekend in May with Galway and Westmeath kicking things. The two big clashes of the weekend take place later on that Saturday with Dublin facing Kilkenny before All-Ireland champs Limerick take on Tipperary in the Gaelic Grounds. Both of these games will be shown live on eir sport. The football will restart then the following weekend, with Kerry and Galway facing off in the first game of the competition live on eir sport.

TG4, meanwhile, will broadcast an unparalleled comprehensive schedule of Gaelic Games with 25 games live and exclusive from the Allianz Leagues (Football and Hurling) over the coming months.

The station will show at least four live games every weekend, with one game on Saturday and three games every Sunday; two of which will be live on TG4, while a third will be available to view live on the TG4 Player App, in addition to deferred full coverage of the game on TG4 later that day.
