Clough/Ballacolla took on The Harps in the Laois SHC last Friday.
However, Clough's win was overshadowed by a post-match brawl that involved most players from both sides and continued for a couple of minutes.
The 1-20 to 3-12 win for the holders at O'Moore Park, secured progression to the knockout stages from Group A.
According to the Hogan Stand, Laois CCC will look into the matter.
