The teams for Jim Bolger and Davy Russell’s annual ‘Hurling for Cancer Research’ match have been unveiled, and they are stacked full of big names.
The charity match will take place at Netwatch Cullen Park on Monday August 18th (7.30pm), and will be aired on TG4.
The likes of Patrick Horgan, Lee Chin, Noel McGrath, Jake Morris and even Dublin footballer Con O’Callaghan are involved.
There will be some cross-sport stars involved too, including jockey Rachel Blackmore and former Republic of Ireland striker Niall Quinn.
John Kiely and Liam Griffin will manage Jim Bolger’s All Stars, while Davy Russell’s side will be coached by Brian Cody and Liam Cahill.
Tickets are available from selected Centra and SuperValu GAA ticket agent stores, as well as online at www.hurlingforcancer.ie
All ticket sale proceeds go directly to Cancer Research.
