A lot of speculation has came out of the Mayo camp regarding personnel, fitness and even rumours that the captain, Aidan O'Shea may not start.
However, according to the team released in advance, only two changes have been made to the team that beat Dublin the All-Ireland semi-final, as Enda Hession and Bryan Walsh come in.
As expected, half-back Eoghan McLaughlin is not deemed fit enough to start following the jaw injury he suffered in a controversial challenge by Dublin's John Small while Darren MacHale drops out out of the starting line-up after being replaced in semi-final.
Wing-back Hession made a big impression after his introduction late in the first half against Dublin and his inclusion was widely expected.

However, it was reported that O'Shea was carrying an injury and wearing a protective boot in the the lead-up to the match, so was not fully fit.
It appears that the captain will be in the starting 15, and Oisin Mullin who is recovering from a. quad injury has also not made a return.
Of course in the modern game, late changes are often made to the line-ups, and there could be one or two surprises before 5pm today.
