The lads over at Murphy's designed these gorgeous set of rainbow gloves for a campaign called #sharethegLOVE (Who doesn't love a good play on words?!)
Murphy's are selling the gloves for a very reasonable price of €13.45 with all proceeds going to Aware (a mental health charity) and The Rainbow Project (Offers help for LGBT+People).
The #sharethegLove campaign is a new campaign in the GAA that hopes to raise awareness for two charities and looks to tackle the underlying problems in the GAA.
The campaign aims to:
Attitudes are changing in the GAA especially with two-time All-Star Donal Óg Cusack coming out in 2009 and the campaign hopes to bring a shift in attitudes another step further.
This is the first campaign of its kind in the GAA and was kickstarted by Ruairi Mooney and Maggie Hagan partners of the National Union of Students Northern Ireland in partnership of Sean Murphy of Muphy's gloves.
A number of players were meant to don the gloves in last Sunday's All-Ireland semi final clash between Dublin and Tyrone but the sunny weather ended up getting in the way of that so here's hoping for a bit of rain for the All-Ireland final so we can see these beauties in action.
